Window 7 C:Drive Space Keeps Decreasing
Make sure you Run Disk Cleanup (Start, type: Disk Cleanup)
Delete the Windows.old folder located at the root of the drive if you did an upgrade)
Empty your temporary files folder:
(Open the Run Command Windows key + R)
type: %Temp%
Delete the contents of the folder and restart your system
Uninstall any programs that you are not using
OR
Press Start > right click on Computer > Properties > go to System Protection (on top in the left pane) > highlight C > click on Configure.
What do you see under "Disk Space Usage" > "Current Usage". If that corresponds to the space you are missing, then the space is being used by restore points.
